Job Description:
AWS Cloud Architect
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
" Strong architectural expertise in AWS infra design including multi-account Landing Zones.
" Deep understanding of AWS migration methodologies for large DC exit programs.
" Hands-on proficiency with EC2, VPC, TGW, Route 53, ALB/NLB, EBS/EFS/FSx, and S3.
" Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, SCPs, GuardDuty, Config, CloudTrail.
" Solid understanding of AWS networking, routing, Direct Connect/VPN, and hybrid connectivity.
" Experience architecting EKS clusters including networking, scaling, and workload placement.
" Familiar with automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
" Understanding of Windows 2016 2025 and RHEL 7 9 infra dependencies.
" Strong analytical skills to identify cloud readiness blockers and performance gaps.
" Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with app, DB, security, and infra teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead AWS infra architecture for the Data Center Exit initiative ensuring secure, scalable hosting.
" Design AWS Landing Zones including account structure, SCPs, IAM guardrails, and governance.
" Architect VPC layouts, subnetting, routing, Direct Connect/VPN, and TGW connectivity.
" Define cloud security architecture including identity, encryption, monitoring, and compliance.
" Oversee EC2 compute migration, right-sizing, HA patterns, AMI mgmt, and patching workflows.
" Provide EKS architecture guidance for cluster design, networking, and workload deployment.
" Ensure app/DB teams have reliable connectivity to Oracle Exadata on AWS and SQL workloads.
" Develop Terraform/CloudFormation automation pipelines for provisioning cloud infra.
" Produce HLD/LLDs, design standards, migration documentation, and operational runbooks.
" Support migration waves by validating infra readiness and resolving cloud infra issues.
Cloud Experience Needed
" Deep hands-on experience in AWS EC2 design, scaling, placement, and HA architecture.
" Experience creating enterprise Landing Zones and implementing cloud governance.
" Hands-on exposure to AWS migration tools (MGN, DMS, SCT) and hybrid connectivity.
" Strong EKS architecture experience covering CNI networking, node groups, and ingress design.
" Ability to implement observability frameworks using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, X-Ray, and logging pipelines.
