Position: Audit Manager
About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Audit Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working directly with clients, and can lead a team to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget.
What You’ll Need:
7+ years’ experience in a public accounting firm
CPA license (required)
Master’s degree in accounting
Strong technical expertise across a variety of accounting and auditing issues
Proven ability to manage multiple high-demand projects at once
Experience supervising and mentoring a team
Professionalism and poise with clients and staff, even in high-pressure situations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and other accounting software
What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage audit engagements from start to finish – including planning, budgeting, staffing, and client communication
Review work prepared by your team before it goes to the partner, aiming for minimal revisions
Provide clear feedback, training, and support to staff to help them grow and succeed
Identify risks during engagements and develop strategies to address them
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, earning their trust and confidence
Spot opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients
Collaborate with colleagues to pursue new business opportunities
Represent the firm in professional and community networks
Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures
Perform other related duties as needed
