The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive Sales Coordinator to join a growing and fast-paced business operating within a highly regulated and customer-focused industry.
This is a varied position where you will play a key role in supporting the full sales cycle, managing customer relationships, coordinating orders, and ensuring a high level of service delivery across multiple internal departments.
The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy building strong customer relationships, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
What will you be doing?
* Managing customer accounts and building strong long-term relationships
* Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
* Processing sales orders and coordinating deliveries through to dispatch
* Liaising with internal departments including Operations, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to resolve supply and delivery issues
* Monitoring stock availability and managing customer orderbooks
* Producing sales quotations, forecasts, KPI reports, and customer presentations
* Analysing customer consumption data and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
* Maintaining accurate CRM records, forecasts, and reporting documentation
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing ideas to improve service levels and operational efficiency
* Assisting senior management and business development teams with additional coordination and reporting activities
What will you bring to the party?
* Previous experience within a Sales Coordinator, Customer Service, Account Coordination, or similar role
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Confident communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills including reporting, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs
* Ability to analyse data and produce accurate reports and forecasts
* Experience working within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently when required
* Aerospace industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential
* Power BI knowledge would be beneficial but is not required
