With a strong emphasis on innovation and operational excellence, the organisation designs and integrates advanced control and automation systems that support complex electrical and mechanical infrastructure. Engineers within the business work across the full project lifecycle, from design and programming through to commissioning and long‑term system optimisation. Key Responsibilities
Design and develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA control systems for industrial and power applications Produce control schematics, I/O lists, loop diagrams, and system architecture documentation Program and configure PLC platforms and industrial control systems Support integration of drives, instrumentation, sensors, and automation equipment Lead FAT/SAT activities, commissioning, and on‑site troubleshooting Ensure compliance with industry standards and functional safety requirements Provide technical leadership through design reviews and system validation Support controls system upgrades, retrofits, and optimisation projects Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and project teams to deliver integrated solutions Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications
Degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation, or related engineering discipline Strong experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI development Familiarity with industrial networks (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP) Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting control systems on‑site Knowledge of functional safety and industrial control standards Strong understanding of electrical systems and process integration Experience working in complex industrial or utility environments Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
