Position Details:
Job Title:CNA Med Surg
Location:Bakersfield, CA 93301
Duration:08 weeks
Schedule:Day 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitoring and recording vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
- Helping patients with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to ensure comfort and safety
- Providing compassionate patient care and emotional support
- Assisting nurses and healthcare staff with patient procedures and treatments
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting care provided
- Ensuring patient rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Observing and reporting changes in patients' physical or mental condition to nursing staff
- Following infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines at all times
- Assisting with meal distribution and monitoring patients' food and fluid intake
- Current and valid CNA license in CA - No license hits allowed
- BLS/CPR certified
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
