About

Irys, originally launched as Bundlr, is an L2 protocol that enhanced the scalability of permanent data storage, handling over 96% of transactions on a major storage provider. Recognizing limitations in the original base layer, Irys is now transitioning to a Layer 1 Blockchain. This new L1 combines EVM-compatible execution with both temporary and permanent storage solutions, all unified within one network. This innovation facilitates “programmable data”, enabling smart contracts to natively access and use stored data. Key use cases include cost-effective cross-contract calls, decentralized AI agents, dePIN coordination layers, and dynamic incentive structures. OUR VALUES:
