About

Position Highlights The Project Manager position plays a vital role in the ongoing success of the Payment Optimization team with responsibility for driving moderately complex projects and/or components/phases of larger, more complex projects.
The Project Manager will implement and manage key programs designed to grow the Payment Optimization suite of services, including but not limited to Interchange Optimization and Surcharge. The successful candidate will execute strategic initiatives that will accelerate speed to revenue across primary sales channels. Duties include program management, project management and general day-to-day management of strategic initiative designed to grow our business. The right candidate will contribute to the long-term success of Payment Optimization and the company.
Execute defined strategic revenue initiatives often within accelerated timeline. Drive initiatives with a hands on approach while executing, managing, and reporting results.
Understand revenue drivers across primary channels, use program management and risk management approach to ensure revenue attainment.
Organize and gathers information from various departments and meetings and reports that information, along with recommendations, to leadership members.
Must be effective navigating the organization to produce desired results, operate with a sense of urgency, and know when/how to bring forward project risks.
Ability to manage time well.
Ability to handle multiple projects and align meetings with key stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Eight to ten years of experience in project management activities
Preferred Skills and Experience
4+ years of experience in business and IT program and project management
2+ years of experience in the Payments industry
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Solid planning, organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking skills
Creativity ability to think outside of the box
Eagerness to work intensively in joint teams to accomplish project objective
Self-starter attitude ability to self-serv, investigate and get the information needed for the project at hand
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Proficient in Microsoft Project
Proven problem-solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection
Ability to represent technical delivery tasks to non-technical and/or business resources
Performs duties under limited supervision, applying a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and assignments
Superior attention to detail and process/project management skills
Ability to develop a strong understanding of delivery capabilities associated with projects that are supported
