Senior BI Analyst
to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role As a Senior BI Analyst, become a part of a cross‑functional development team working for one of the Ciklum’s client who develops a system designed to enhance learning, streamline school operations, and connect students, teachers, and parents in a unified digital environment. It provides real‑time academic insights, and seamless integration with key educational tools.
The candidate will have hands‑on experience with Power BI and will play a key role in transforming complex data into actionable insights. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable data reporting solutions.
Responsibilities
Communicate findings effectively through clear data storytelling and visualization
Build, publish, and maintain interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports
Lead the creation of use cases and performance dashboards as part of the Data Strategy
Responsible for the implementation and development of data visualisations
Accountable for designing data engineering structures necessary to support BI initiatives
Responsible for data integration management between core business applications, data lakes, etc
Owns one or more key infrastructure components and works to continually improve them, identifying gaps and improving the platform’s quality, robustness, maintainability, and speed
Cross‑trains other team members on technologies being developed while continuously learning new technologies from other team members
Interacts with engineering teams and ensures that solutions meet customer requirements
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights
Requirements
5+ years of experience within the Business Intelligence or Data Science field with a focus on Data Visualization and Data Analytics
5+ years’ experience with Data Visualization tools - Power BI
3+ years of expertise in cloud data platforms (Azure)
Good knowledge of data analysis in enterprises. Experience in BI consultancy for enterprise clients
Knowledge of DAX and M for Power BI
Experience coding in SQL
Experience participating in an Agile software development team, e.g. Scrum
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Experience with supporting data scientists and complex statistical use cases is highly desirable
Experience in data science and machine learning
Experience in CI/CD configuration and familiarity with version control (e.g., Git)
Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and models using Databricks (PySpark/SQL/Delta Lake), Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory
