divh2Overnight Supervisor/h2pUnder the supervision of the Management team, the Overnight Supervisor provides daily direction to the Outfitters on the overnight shift within the retail store, to include: sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, inventory management and price change execution./ph3Essential Functions:/h3ulliDelegates tasks and work assignments to team members by giving clear and concise direction and follow up to ensure proper execution./liliEnsures adherence of all standard operating procedures and processes by team members, following up to provide training and guidance when needed./liliMaintains visual presentation standards including in-store signage, proper execution of merchandise directives and planograms, merchandise recovering/front facing and general daily recovery ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers./liliEnsures nightly replenishment of sales floor from backstock inventory, as well as new replenishment from the Distribution Centers and direct vendor deliveries./liliSupports inventory management in partnership with the Inventory Control team by completing on demand counts, empty peg scanning, pick requests, display integrities, etc. during off peak business overnight./liliSupports the Management team with coordination of all Special Events; maintenance of pricing and UPC integrity; determining proper assortments; accuracy of inventory; proper display, tagging, signing and pricing of all advertised items./liliSupports the Management team in carrying out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Companys policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, training, planning, assigning and directing work, measuring and evaluating performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems, maintaining a positive, harassment free working environment for all associates./liliAssists the Management team and Human Resources Representative to staff the department with service oriented associates; participates in interviewing and makes recommendations for selection; coordinates training; consults with the Management team and gives input on preparation of performance appraisals; prepares weekly work schedules; coaches and motivates associates to promote positive customer relations and a productive team-oriented work environment./liliEnsures all breaks and lunches are provided for overnight Outfitters in accordance with all state and local regulations./liliAll other duties as assigned./li/ulh3Experience/Qualifications:/h3ulliMinimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent/liliYears of experience: 2-4 Retail Years Retail Experience/liliAvailability to work overnight shifts/li/ulh3Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:/h3ulliAbility to read and analyze certain reports/liliAbility to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from Managers, Outfitters, customers and the general public/liliAbility to conduct meetings and presentations to groups/liliProficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and inventory management systems/liliDemonstrated strong interpersonal skills./liliAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, Outfitters, customers and with the Base Camp team/li/ulh3Travel Requirements:/h3ulliN/A/li/ulh3Physical Requirements:/h3ulliRegular computer work, walking, and standing./liliOccasional sitting and lifting up to 50 lbs./li/ulh3Independent Judgement:/h3ulliPerforms duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives.
