*Position Overview*
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to support a federal client engagement. This individual will lead the design and architecture of scalable Salesforce solutions while working closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and government leadership. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of translating business requirements into secure, compliant, and sustainable technical solutions within a federal environment.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture across multiple projects and environments
* Design scalable solutions using Salesforce platform capabilities including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications
* Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to gather requirements and define technical direction
* Provide architecture guidance for integrations, security models, data migration strategies, and automation frameworks
* Review and approve technical designs, development approaches, and deployment strategies
* Support Agile delivery teams through sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical oversight
* Ensure solutions align with federal compliance and security standards
* Mentor developers and administrators on Salesforce best practices and platform governance
* Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities while driving projects forward
* Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and architecture reviews
*Required Qualifications*
* U.S. Citizenship required
* Ability to pass a federal background investigation
* Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
* 7+ years of Salesforce experience with at least 3+ years in an architect-level role
* Strong hands-on experience with:
* Apex development
* Lightning Web Components (LWC)
* Salesforce Flows and automation
* REST/SOAP integrations
* Experience Cloud
* Service Cloud
* Data modeling and security architecture
* Experience designing enterprise-level Salesforce solutions
* Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and source control processes
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to operate in fast-paced environments with changing priorities
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Previous experience supporting federal government clients or contracts
* Salesforce certifications such as:
* Salesforce Application Architect
* Salesforce System Architect
* Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred
* Experience with FedRAMP, compliance, or secure cloud environments
* Familiarity with AWS integrations or cloud-hosted solutions
* Experience with tools such as Git, Copado, Gearset, Jira, or Azure DevOps
