People like you!/ppThe Territory Sales Representative is responsible for planning and managing territory activities to achieve sales and market share growth utilizing approved sales and marketing strategy and tools while providing excellent customer service to all customers in territory. The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for sales and administration of their territory./ppLocation: Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area/ph3Essential Job Functions/h3ulliDevelop relationships and grow sales with assigned distribution customers in territory/liliFrequently contact roofing contractors, remodelers, builders, and architects to drive demand/liliPresent products and programs to qualified distributors and end users on a weekly basis/liliPerform product knowledge (PK) training sessions with customers/liliManage territory pricing based on competitive situations/liliFollow up on inquiries from customers or IKO administration in a timely fashion/liliSubmittal of weekly Intelligence Reports in a timely fashion/liliManage customer accounts receivable balance and deductions/liliInvestigate and process product quality complaints in territory/liliOrganize and execute a business plan to meet territory sales goals and customer needs/liliUtilize approved sales/marketing tools within budget/liliIncrease IKO market share in territory/liliTimely and effective communication of market and competitive information as well as requests for pricing or payment exceptions./liliDevelop relationships and grow sales with assigned distribution customers in territory./liliAttend meetings, functions and company provided training as required/liliManage customer accounts receivable balance and deductions/liliAdhere to Health and Safety policies as well as IKO Vehicle policies/liliAny other responsibilities as assigned/li/ulh3Competencies/h3ulliDemonstrated attention to detail and professional attitude./liliDemonstrated proficiency in the use computer programs such as Microsoft Office products/liliDemonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills/liliDetail oriented with a personal commitment to task completion/liliProactive, detail-focused and deadline oriented/liliDemonstrated ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team environment/liliDemonstrated ability to calling primarily on the end user and performing pull through sales techniques/liliDemonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals/li/ulh3Work Environment/h3ulliWork is generally performed within a customer retail, distribution or home office environment./li/ulh3Physical Demands/h3ulliMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time/liliMust be able to work flexible hours (including nights and weekends) to complete tasks as assigned/liliThe person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc./liliConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer/li/ulh3Travel/h3ulliUp to 100% travel may be required/liliMust be willing to consider relocation for future opportunities./li/ulh3Required Education/Experience/h3ulliAssociates Degree required; Bachelors Degree preferred./liliDrivers License in good standing required./lili3 years of prior sales experience in building products industry preferred/li/ulh3Additional/Preferred Requirements/h3ulliPrior sales experience calling on roofing contractors, builders and/or architects preferred/liliPrior professional sales training preferred/li/ulh3Work Authorization/h3pMust be authorized to work in the United States of America/ppBenefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
