Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Compliance Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of transportation regulations and be able to ensure that our company is in compliance with all applicable laws and standards. This is a full-time, remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to transportation and logistics
Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify any areas of non-compliance and take corrective action
Stay up-to-date on changes to regulations and communicate updates to relevant departments
Train employees on compliance policies and procedures
Manage compliance documentation and records
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance in all aspects of the business
Respond to compliance inquiries and requests from regulatory agencies
Prepare reports and presentations on compliance status and progressIdentify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
Conduct internal investigations and recommend corrective actions when necessary
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in compliance, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
Strong understanding of transportation regulations and standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Experience conducting audits and investigations preferred
