Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides reliable and timely coaching and counseling to employees and managers on issues to ensure consistent, transparent application of policies, procedures, and employment laws.
Identifies, communicates, and resolves standard to moderately complex employee relations matters, balancing employee advocacy with stewardship of company policies and employment laws, including performance management, investigations, sensitive conduct issues, and protected‑class related concerns; escalating high‑risk or complex matters to the HR Manager as appropriate.
Serves as the primary HR point of contact for assigned client group(s) supporting/delivering internal processes including Performance Management, onboarding, and Exit interviews.
Partners and participates with local team(s) on recruitment outreach efforts.
Serves as an active member of People related project teams as assigned, and provides back‑up support to HR Advisors as needed.
Coaches managers through difficult workplace conversations, providing guidance on documentation, corrective action, and risk mitigation.
Assists the HR Manager in the development and maintenance of processes and policies as well as new initiatives, including improvements to employee relations workflows and case quality.
Identifies and escalates potential legal, risk, safety, compliance, ADA, and accommodation‑related concerns to the HR Manager, overseeing routine ADA matters and escalating complex cases as needed.
Prepares, reviews, and maintains employee relations documentation, including investigation records and corrective action materials.
Triages employee relations intake inquiries and supports case tracking and follow‑through in partnership with HR Managers.
Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory duties.
Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
Experience: Four (4) years of relevant work experience in a People Advisor or Generalist capacity.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
PHR, SHRM-CP, or CHRP Certification preferred.

Work Environment
Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the work day.
Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds rarely.
Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) rarely.
Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements rarely.
Normal setting for this job is an office setting, however, operational site visits are required with exposure to weather and areas where large equipment is operated.
Ability to travel 10% - 30% of the time depending upon geographic span of responsibility.
Compensation The expected base pay range for this
remote
position is $100,050 - $127,535 per year. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
Employees will also receive discretionary time off, up to 80 hours of paid sick time per year and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Additionally, the Company has a leave pay policy that provides for up to 4 weeks of paid leave in a rolling 12‑month period for qualifying leaves.
