Overview
Capability Manager, Payment Integrity - Remote at UnitedHealthcare. This role focuses on capability management for payment integrity services, aligning with business and product strategy, and delivering sustainable, financially sound solutions that enable external product delivery and internal function performance. Remote work is available from anywhere in the U.S. Primary Responsibilities
Supports end-to-end coordination and alignment for product-related activities Drive business work within the Agile process, sharing the business vision Understand and translate features into user stories to be groomed and developed by Product Development Own the product at a user story level, guided by Roadmap and Capabilities Collaborate with Optum IT Developments & Architecture, Finance and Business Teams to forecast and address product-line investments Provide oversight of release activities for the business (communication, documentation, training, release notes); work with Program/Project Manager, UAT and Operational Readiness leads to ensure deployment plan meets stakeholder needs Ensure system business rules and configurations meet regulatory, compliance and operational needs; facilitate cross-group solutions when discrepancies exist Quantify benefits related to prioritization and describe the value story for the product roadmap; participate in capital planning activities Represent United Culture missions and values, delivering exemplary customer service with internal and external team members Work effectively in a matrix environment across cross-functional teams Required Qualifications
4+ years of leading business/operational activities related to application implementations/development 3+ years of experience with Agile processes, including development of user stories and gathering business requirements 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations – payment integrity, claim, and/or provider operations Solid proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Proven ability to solve problems with multiple priorities and research conflicting or inaccurate data Experience driving process mapping, gap analysis and solutioning discussions with business, operations and technology teams Preferred Qualifications
Product Management or Agile Scrum certification Lean/Six Sigma training Experience in specific product content area Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations to all levels of project governance Remote employees must adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on factors including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications.
