About

The Facilities Manager plays a key role in gathering MEP data throughout Welltower’s diverse property portfolio. This position requires a detailed and organized individual with an understanding of mechanical, electrical and plumbing fixtures and systems. The ideal candidate will be able to travel regularly while delivering high-impact results.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Sr. Facilities Manager in gathering MEP data to upload into the Facilities Maintenance program.
Support “going live” with operator teams throughout Welltower’s portfolio.
Identify and elevate immediate needs of the properties visited.
Manage vendor and operator team relationships, service contracts, and performance metrics to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support capital projects, emergency response planning, and compliance initiatives.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements, applying new knowledge to improve operations.
Support long-term capital planning and budgeting efforts in coordination with senior leadership.
Contribute to strategic initiatives that improve asset performance and environmental impact.

Travel
This role will be expected to travel regularly between multiple project sites.
This position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in Chicago, IL or Denver, CO.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
5–7 years of progressive experience in facilities operations, with demonstrated responsibilities.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience leading teams and managing stakeholders.
Experience with Yardi platform.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and verification of employment, education, and other credentials relevant to the position.
Compensation Salaries may vary by location. The range for this role in Denver, CO or Chicago, IL is $92,800- $133,700 plus bonus. Final compensation determinations are made based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual experience, education, and skill level; business strategic priorities; primary office location; scope and anticipated strategic impact of the role.
