About

Product Manager – Universal Film Group This role will lead the product strategy, development, and delivery of technical solutions that advance the Universal Film Group’s data and analytics initiatives. The Product Manager will partner with stakeholders across business areas to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver products that improve data accessibility, insight generation, and operational efficiency. In addition to supporting the NBCU business units on data and analytics, this role will partner with Technical Operations and Enterprise Engineering teams to support enterprise initiatives for the advancement and growth of data and analytics as a key strategy across our business.
Base Pay Range $110,000 – $145,000 per year
Responsibilities
Define and manage the product vision, strategy and roadmap for analytics‑related solutions supporting the Universal Film group
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate analytics needs into technical product features
Write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria to guide engineering teams and ensure alignment with business objectives
Partner with Enterprise Engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performing analytics products
Lead cross‑functional planning and prioritization to align development efforts with business priorities and enterprise goals
Manage the end‑to‑end product lifecycle
Identify opportunities to improve data quality, standards, governance and accessibility across analytics platforms
Support change management, adoption and enablement efforts to drive effective use of analytics tools and data insights
Promote a data‑driven culture, encouraging innovation and the use of analytics to support decision making across the Universal Film group
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Google analytics and data products
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing Technology, Business Analytics or equivalent experience
5+ years of product management, analytics, or data engineering experience related to solution delivery
Demonstrated success managing data and analytics focused products from concept through launch
Strong understanding of data platforms, integrations and analytics architecture including APIs, data pipelines and data modeling
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate closely with data engineers and developers
Experience working with Cloud solutions (GCP, AWS or Azure) and modern technologies such as BigQuery, Snowflake or Databricks
Strong SQL proficiency with the ability to write, optimize and validate queries to support data analysis, product development and troubleshooting
Experience working in cross‑functional teams involving data engineers and business stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to utilize technology to create innovative solutions
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience engaging senior leaders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Global Media & Entertainment industry
Familiarity with the Film, TV and Streaming ecosystem, including the digital landscape and consumer behavior drivers
Experience managing large‑scale BI and analytics projects
Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Microstrategy, Looker Studio, Tableau and Power BI
Experience in BigQuery, Snowflake, Vertex AI, Cloud Composer, BigQuery ML, AutoML, AWS S3, Python & SQL
Understanding of data science and machine learning
Stays informed on Google product offerings and industry trends, applying emerging capabilities to enhance analytics and data solutions
Additional Requirements Full‑Remote:
This position is designated as fully remote and is expected to be completed from a non‑NBCUniversal worksite, typically an employee’s residence.
