Job Overview Own the financial heartbeat of two high‑visibility manufacturing sites – Monroe, LA and Sheboygan, WI – while serving as a trusted finance business partner to operations leaders and senior executives. As the Operations Controller for Ingersoll Rand's Thomas and Welch product lines, this leadership role drives manufacturing cost efficiency, revenue growth, margin expansion, and working capital optimization while leading a small team. Responsible for multi‑site financial performance, this role translates month‑end results into actionable plant‑level insights, driving the KPIs that matter most. This is not a back‑office role; analysis, recommendations, and decisive actions directly influence plant operations and guide where investments are made to win. This is an opportunity to shape outcomes at the largest plant while supporting two additional product lines—offering broad scope and a meaningful platform to make an immediate impact. Through cross‑functional collaboration, this role drives real‑time problem solving and advances key initiatives that directly influence performance. Step into a high‑impact position where improvements extend beyond the P&L and show up in the products delivered every day.

Month‑End Close:
Reviews and holds oversight responsibility for monthly closing over Monroe and Sheboygan sites, ensuring that monthly financials are in accordance with GAAP and in compliance with SOX controls.
Operations Reporting:
Provides insightful analytical reporting that delivers context and implications of the financial results, trends, risks and opportunities. Includes understanding manufacturing results (productivity, scrap, PPV, spending trends), NWC (inventory, AP, AR), and capital investment analysis.
Business Partnership:
Develops and evaluates both tactical and strategic objectives, including customer/product sales, mix and profitability analytics, new business quoting, and potential M&A integration.
Control Environment:
Ensures strong financial controls and is proactive in resolving current or future gaps. Establishes and maintains a culture of compliance (revenue cut‑off, reserves, safeguarding assets).
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Develops timely and accurate forecasts for the P&L and Balance Sheet. Assesses risk and opportunities. Supports standard cost process.
ERP & Systems:
Leverages system capabilities to enhance costing accuracy, operational reporting, and manufacturing decision support. Drives improvements to ERP configurations and automation through changes to internal processes and creation of dashboards.
