By connecting quality, engineering and production, we help our customers reduce cost of quality and enhance overall manufacturing performance.**Your Mission**We are seeking an enthusiastic Application Engineer with a passion for industrial technical environments, to deliver technical support, product demonstrations, and training sessions for our customers and business partners in Central & Eastern European Countries. You will also act as a key link between the field and our internal teams (Product, Marketing, Services, Sales), sharing insights to continuously improve our solutions and customer experience.**Your Key Responsibilities** **Customer Support & Guidance*** Respond to user requests and provide tailored technical assistance* Analyze customer needs and identify issues to deliver effective solutions* Communicate clearly and appropriately depending on the audience* Document and share knowledge internally to improve support processes️ **Training & Demonstrations*** Prepare and deliver high-quality training sessions and product demos* Adapt content to the audience and ensure understanding of software features* Evaluate trainee progress using appropriate validation tools* Collaborate with internal experts to stay up to date with product capabilities**Continuous Improvement & Reporting*** Share customer feedback and field insights with HQ teams* Identify and report product issues to ensure proper resolution* Contribute to the evolution of our support services and product offering**Your Profile****Education & Experience*** Bachelor’s or Master's degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent)* Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience with 3D metrology software (Metrolog X4, PolyWorks, PC‑DMIS, Calypso, or similar). Training on Metrolog X4 will be provided as part of the onboarding.* Strong customer service mindset is required* Fluency in English is essential due to our international positioning and collaboration with global partners* Knowledge of Czech, Slovak or Polish is a plus**Technical Skills*** Advanced knowledge of metrology and experience with technical software tools (CMM environments, 3D inspection tools, CAD file handling…)* Ability to diagnose complex customer situations and provide appropriate solutions* Strong communication skills, both remote and in-person, to explain technical concepts clearly* Proficiency with IT tools and ticketing platforms (e.g., Jira, CRM systems) **Soft Skills*** Strong customer orientation, active listening, and ability to tailor your message* Collaborative spirit, knowledge sharing, and a mentoring attitude toward colleagues* Ability to professionally represent the company in external interactions* Willingness to learn from others and share your own expertise* Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and demonstrate strong pedagogical skills* Analytical mindset, technical curiosity, and professional rigor* Autonomy and organizational skills in a dynamic environment* Ability and willingness to travel within the region (30–50%, depending on customer projects), with occasional travel to France or other European locations for internal events or training.**What we offer*** A 4 to 6-week onboarding program in France, designed to discover our products, tools, and build strong connections with the HQ support teams* A dynamic and growing organization where your contribution will directly impact customer satisfaction* A stimulating industrial environment, working with international teams and partners* An inclusive and excellence-driven workplace, where initiative, collaboration and continuous improvement are encouraged* A fully remote position with all required equipment and continuous support to operate efficiently in the field.As part of the Sandvik Group, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at all levels of the organization.Apply today and be part of our adventure.**Location:** remote - Czech Republic, Slovakia or Poland
