Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Grant Manager to support our growing organization. This role is responsible for identifying grant opportunities, writing and submitting grant proposals, managing grant reporting and reimbursements, and ensuring organizational compliance with funder requirements. This position will start part-time (approximately 10 hours per week) and is expected to grow into a full-time role as funding and capacity expand.
Key Responsibilities
Research, identify, and track public and private grant opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission
Write compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documentation
Prepare and submit grant reimbursements and payment requests in a timely manner
Track grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and deliverables
Ensure compliance with grant agreements, funder guidelines, and reporting standards
Maintain organized grant files, documentation, and compliance records
Collaborate with leadership and program staff to gather data, budgets, and narratives
Assist with grant-related audits, monitoring visits, and compliance reviews as needed
Support the development and improvement of internal grant management systems
Requirements
Proven experience writing and managing grants (nonprofit or public sector experience preferred)
Experience with grant reimbursements and financial documentation
Strong understanding of compliance requirements and funder reporting standards
Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision
Familiarity with youth development, violence prevention, or victim advocacy is a plus
Proficiency with Google Workspace, grant portals, and basic budgeting tools
Schedule & Compensation Part-time, approximately 10 hours per week to start
Fully remote position
