About the Role:
We're hiring a BESS Project Manager to oversee utility-scale battery energy storage system deployments across the U.S. This role is central to the successful execution of high-impact projects, from early development through commissioning. You\'ll work cross-functionally with engineering, construction, and commercial teams to ensure technical excellence and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead utility-scale BESS projects from development through COD
Manage schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams
Interface with utilities, AHJs, and third-party consultants
Ensure compliance with interconnection, permitting, and safety standards
Provide technical oversight and resolve field challenges
Support contract negotiations and vendor management
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in utility-scale energy storage or renewable project management
Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferred
Experience working with IPPs or developers preferred
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to travel to project sites as needed
