Design Manager A Tier 2 Main Building Contractor is seeking a Design Manager to join their team that is working on several large residential projects -already started and commencing in the following months. Our client has a robust project pipeline for their busiest year yet, delivering diverse developments nationwide. We are looking for a Design Manager with who has worked on large Resi projects in Ireland or the UK previously and we will consider candidates coming from a design office. Key Responsibilities: Report to the Design Director Manage the submission and approval process for designs and materials, securing client approvals. Proactively address potential design risks by collaborating with the Design Team to devise solutions. Create forward-looking project plans. Coordinate with project management teams to ensure smooth execution. Demonstrate strong scheduling and program management abilities. Participate in site meetings, providing updates on project progress. Requirements: Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline. Design management experience with a main contractor or developer is ideal, though candidates from architectural practices or design firms with relevant skills will be considered. Background in residential projects Exceptional attention to detail. Proficient in written and verbal communication. Compensation: €80,000€90,000. Comprehensive benefits package.
