Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. is seeking a detail-oriented
Quality Testing Inspector
to join our Manufacturing Team. This position is responsible for performing inspections, testing, and quality audits to ensure products meet customer specifications, company standards, and applicable industry requirements.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is confident making quality related decisions to support production and product integrity. Responsibilities Inspect in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, gauges, scales, and other inspection equipment Monitor production processes and communicate required adjustments or corrective actions when non-conforming product is identified Work closely with machinists and production personnel to maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process Document inspection results, test data, and quality records accurately Support lot traceability and maintain inspection documentation Verify calibration and proper use of inspection equipment Assist with audits, quality procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure machinery and equipment are properly set up and operating within quality requirements Identify and report quality concerns, equipment issues, and safety hazards Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing guidelines Qualifications Manufacturing quality inspection experience preferred Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and inspection procedures Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a production environment Experience in machining, fastener manufacturing, or metal manufacturing environments is a plus Safety Expectations Perform all work safely and follow all applicable safety procedures Wear required PPE and use safety equipment appropriately Report unsafe conditions, hazards, or incidents immediately Regularly inspect equipment and work areas to ensure safe operation Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Ability to stand for extended periods during an 8+ hour shift Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and production noise 1st Shift
M-F, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Swing Shift
M-F. 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
