About

The Warren Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, supporting children and families impacted by developmental delays and disabilities. As an LPN with The Warren Center, you will play a key role in helping children reach their fullest potential by providing attentive, family-centered nursing care in collaboration with our pediatric therapy professionals. In this role, you will work closely with pediatric therapists, nurses, and other healthcare providers to support the developmental and medical needs of children receiving services at our center and, when needed, in community or home-based settings. You will assist with developmental assessments by gathering health histories and monitoring vital signs, administer ordered medications and treatments, and carefully observe and document each child’s response to care. You will provide ongoing monitoring for changes in condition, promptly reporting concerns to supervising nurses or providers and the interdisciplinary team. You will be responsible for accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records, ensuring that care plans, progress notes, and communication with families and providers are clearly recorded. You will help implement individualized care and therapy plans by reinforcing therapeutic activities, supporting children during therapy sessions, and using age-appropriate, compassionate approaches that support comfort and engagement. Family involvement is central to this position. You will work directly with parents and caregivers, offering clear, empathetic education on basic health needs, medication routines, safety, and strategies to support each child’s development at home. You will answer questions, provide reassurance, and help families navigate resources, always upholding The Warren Center’s commitment to advocacy, empowerment, and respect. The Warren Center fosters a supportive and inclusive culture built on teamwork and compassion. As part of this collaborative environment, you will communicate regularly with therapists, case managers, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care, share observations, and contribute nursing input to care planning. You will follow established clinical protocols, maintain infection control standards, and promote a safe, welcoming environment for children of all backgrounds and abilities. This position is well suited for an LPN who is passionate about pediatric care, eager to learn about developmental disabilities, and committed to partnering with families throughout their journey. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment that may span both on-site clinic settings and limited community-based visits. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to support children with unique needs are essential. We offer a competitive compensation package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement benefits, as well as opportunities for professional growth within pediatric and developmental care. Joining The Warren Center means contributing to meaningful, life-changing work that helps children thrive and supports families when they need it most. If you are an Licensed Practical Nurse who values teamwork, compassion, and making a lasting difference in the lives of children and families, we invite you to consider this opportunity with The Warren Center.
