About the Role:
MPA Recruitment are proud to announce that we have been awarded as a supplier to the NHS for Support Services roles across all trust settings in Northern Ireland. These include hospitals, health centres, residential facilities, and community-based services. We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Cleaners to join busy healthcare environments. In this vital role, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for patients, staff, and visitors alike. You will play a key part in infection prevention and control, supporting the overall delivery of quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily and deep cleaning of wards, offices, corridors, and public areas.
- Ensure infection control policies are followed at all times.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and clinical equipment as required.
- Safely use cleaning agents and equipment in line with training and Trust guidelines.
- Dispose of waste, including clinical waste, in accordance with health and safety protocols.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly.
- Refill supplies such as soap, hand towels, and toilet rolls.
- Follow schedules and checklists, completing cleaning records as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a healthcare, commercial, or public setting
- Knowledge of COSHH and infection control procedures (training can be provided)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility with shifts and locations, if needed
- An Enhanced Access NI disclosure will be required for this post
