Data Governance Lead Daily Rate Contract Dublin - Hybrid I'm working with a client in Dublin that is looking to bring in a Data Governance Lead on a rolling daily rate contract. In this role, you will have organisation-wide reach and be accountable for implementing data governance into the day-to-day operations within multiple data teams. Responsibilities: Take ownership of, and deliver the enterprise data governance strategy and roadmap in line with business objectives. Lead and direct the work of Data Governance experts Work with cross-functional teams to define ownership, stewardship, responsibilities and accountabilities across data domains Document and enforce data governance policies, standards and procedures to maintain data quality Experience Required: 5+ years experience delivering enterprise-scale Data Governance, Data Management, and Data Quality initiatives, with deep expertise in frameworks, standards, and best practices. Experience implementing enterprise-wide data governance operating models, including policies and controls. Hands-on experience with governance, cataloguing, observability, and analytics tools to drive measurable business outcomes. Solid understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) Practical experience with modern data platforms and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, SQL). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including management reporting using Excel and Power BI Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Please note that candidates must require a valid EU Passport/ Stamp 4 visa.
