Job Description:
Provide support to the functional manager to plan, assign, manage, and oversee resources and schedules Work effectively and make positive contributions in a dynamic team environment Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, and calculations Perform technical verifications of engineering technical deliverables Provide engineering expertise, guidance, and technical mentoring Prepare, communicate, and present complex technical issues to internal and external customers and recommend solutions Implement continual improvement of safety analysis work processes. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nuclear or Mechanical Engineering or similar 8 years nuclear power industry experience Prior experience with thermal-hydraulic methods and codes (eg, TRAC, RELAP) Understand standard engineering work planning, scheduling, and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the application of engineering techniques Extensive knowledge of BWR Systems and integrated plant response Extensive knowledge of the fundamental principles of nuclear engineering such as nuclear physics, thermal hydraulics, and mechanical design, as applied to BWR. Honest and straightforward with a high level of personal integrity Strong personal commitment and determination Detail-oriented and accountable for results Communicate with credibility and confidence Display a strong drive for continuous improvement.
