About
Lead the implementation of environmental commodity projects in a collaborative team environment Implement greenhouse gas emission reduction and removal projects using nature-based solutions like reforestation, improved forest management, biochar, and additional projects worldwide Work closely with team members and project partners to design, implement, monitor, report, and verify their projects Develop project description documents and monitoring plans in accordance with the project methodology, regulations, and client needs Advise clients on opportunities to improve carbon impact and project performance, compliance with methodology and registry requirements Quantify carbon offsets associated with project activities Collect, process, and manage project data Perform greenhouse gas emission reduction calculations in accordance with all methodology requirements Assist the independent verification process for the project, including contracting verification bodies, coordinating and attending verification site visits, engaging or providing support for community & stakeholder engagement, and resolving audit findings and corrective actions Interface with carbon offset registries to resolve project compliance issues, deviations, and submit required documentation in a timely manner Support the progress of all project assignments Maintain project schedule and budget Perform occasional project site visits with verifiers, field crews, company personnel, or other parties Provide regular updates to leadership on the status of projects Requirements:
Minimum BS in a relevant field, including but not limited to: Biology, Conservation Environmental Studies, Forestry or any related fields Minimum 2 or more years of project management experience Minimum of 2 years of developing, supporting, and implementing nature-based projects either for carbon markets or otherwise Prior experience using GIS, ArcPro, QGIS, and other related software Strong quantitative and analytical abilities. Expertise in Excel and/or other data analysis tools. Comfortable working with and manipulating large datasets Strong knowledge of statistics Ability to maintain multiple projects on schedule and within budget Excels at client interaction, including developing and delivering presentations, written deliverables, and building relationships with external parties Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members and ClimeCo partners Willing to travel on occasion (up to 5 times a year) Benefits:
