Paraprofessional - Washington School

Dixon School District #170 is accepting applications for the position of paraprofessional. Posting 37.5 hours a week at Washington Elementary School. Paraprofessional duties include monitoring and supervising students; working in a classroom or one-on-one with a student.

Paraprofessional qualifications:

• Highly qualified parapro approval (60 hours post-secondary work shown on a transcript or passing score on the parapro assessment/diploma or GED)
• Interest and ability to work with students/teachers
• Ability to work with others as well as independently
• Ability to multi-task
• Available to start August 11, 2025

Salary and fringe benefits: Hourly rate is based on paraprofessional license or college credit hours and years of experience $15.00 $16.07 based on education and experience. Ten (10) days per year sick leave. Two (2) days personal leave per year. Health, vision, dental and life insurance offered. IMRF retirement.
