Store Manager

We are looking for a store manager to operate our Oak Park location. The store manager will cultivate an environment with helpful and knowledgeable team members and provide a high level of service. The store manager will run the store as if it was their own. The individual will be responsible for ensuring that associates provide exceptional customer service, while achieving daily sales goals. The store manager will focus on developing their team members skills such as mixing paint, cutting keys, ringing on the register, setting planograms. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of retail management experience. Must be able to work flexible hours and days. This is a full-time salary position.

Requirements:

• Drive store sales by ensuring that all customers are acknowledged, customer projects needs are met, and concerns are resolved quickly.
• Delegate daily workload among associates to meet merchandising and visual presentation standards.
• Hire, train and develop retail staff with goals for growth and success in their positions.
• Enforces safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model.
• Full P&L responsibility including sales, margins, and expenses of the operation.
• Must be proficient in merchandising and planograms.
• Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store.

Experience:

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.
• Must be able to drive a forklift.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000
