We are hiring for an Electrical QA/QC Agent in the following states: Texas, Georgia, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Arizona. As part of our Mission Critical team, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all. Why we need you: In this role, you will be responsible for resolving quality control challenges and completing tasks assigned, including developing and implementing quality control process delivery plans based on information outlined in the owner's project requirements, basis of design, design and construction documents, as well as information gathered from users and project partners, field surveys, specifications, shop drawings, and code research. The expertise of our most successful Electrical QA/QC Agent includes: A technical or associate degree in an electrical-related field, engineering, or construction management from an accredited technical institution or college or commensurate electrical-related field experience. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in electrical service or electrical equipment testing. A minimum of two (2) years in mission-critical space. Functional knowledge of building systems across disciplines, including fire protection, electrical, technology, instrumentation and controls, process, and lighting systems. Experience with both primary and emergency service on state-of-the-art critical systems. Expertise in fire detection/suppression, building monitoring systems, diesel generators, medium voltage switchgear, UPS systems, and power distribution equipment. Fundamental knowledge of commissioning processes and commissioning process delivery. Fundamental knowledge of construction processes and project delivery models. Knowledge and understanding of electrical codes, standards, specifications, and shop drawings with the ability to interpret them. Proficiency in utilizing applicable technologies, including computer/software, data loggers, and test and measurement equipment. Valid driver's license and state-required vehicle insurance. Effective skills to help you flourish: General understanding of the resources required to complete specific types of projects. Ability to anticipate inspections and effectively delegate and balance workload among team members. Ability to work well in a team environment, including carrying out appropriate task follow-through with others, mentoring, delegating tasks, and giving and receiving constructive feedback. Communicates well with clients, project partners, and individuals at all organizational levels. Ability to apply safety training to specific construction situations and avoid unsafe work environments. Ability to safely operate and instruct others in test and measurement equipment and other common tool use. Strong spoken and written communication skills. Excellent organization and time management skills. Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Effective working individually and within team environments. Procore, CxAlloy, or BIM360 experience is a plus. Typical responsibilities: Perform periodic site walks to ensure adherence to procedures and best practices, including assisting general contractors and their site superintendents with inspections as required. Deliver a daily report detailing completed tasks or inspections and adeptly provide information regarding issues supported by relevant codes or standards. Collaborate in a team environment, including carrying out appropriate follow-through with others, mentoring, delegating work, and giving and receiving constructive feedback. Onsite expectation 100% if placed on a site within the region. When required on a site out of the region, travel of 75% will be expected. These will vary based on the site's expectations.
