Company Profile: A well-established and expanding structural engineering consultancy based in Dublin, seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join their close-knit team. The Role: You will work across a varied and rewarding mix of projects, including: Large one-off residential houses and mid-scale residential developments Town centre and retail developments Structural alterations and refurbishments Shopping centres and industrial units Civil works Your responsibilities will include structural analysis and design, preparation of drawings and specifications, liaison with clients and design teams, and attendance at site meetings and inspections. Over time, you will have the scope to take ownership of your own projects from inception through to completion. Requirements: A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BE / BEng / MEng or equivalent) Chartered or working towards chartership (desirable but not essential) Experience in structural design across a range of building types Proficiency in SCIA, Tekla, and/or IDEA StatiCa (preferred) Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach A proactive attitude and a genuine interest in delivering quality work Benefits: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience Hybrid working primarily office-based (Dublin City vicinity), with flexibility to work from home, plus site visits as required A genuine investment in your professional development and CPD A positive, sociable team culture including regular social events and sandwiches and cakes on Fridays Clear career progression pathway, with scope for increased responsibility, project ownership, and long-term equity participation
