Description
The Graphic Design Intern will support the America 250 initiative by creating and producing visual content across print and digital platforms, including social media, websites, marketing materials, and video. This role is designed to build technical design skills, visual communication abilities, and project management experience. Interns will also contribute to seminar preparation and Summer Scholars programming, gaining exposure to educational environments and collaborative learning practices. Examples of Duties
Design and produce visual materials including brochures, flyers, advertisements, and digital graphics Create graphics for social media, blogs, websites, and email campaigns Edit, resize, and retouch images for various platforms Shoot and edit video content for promotional and educational use Assist with asset management and organization of design files Apply branding standards consistently across all visual materials Collaborate on project planning and creative concept development Assist with seminar preparation, including creating visual materials and annotating texts Observe and support classroom discussions within Summer Scholars programming Serve as a chaperone and mentor for Grades 5-12 Summer Scholars participants Utilize design software and emerging technologies (including AI tools) to support creative production Other duties as assigned
