Job Description:
Own the full technical bid process — from analyzing customer inquiries, RFQs, and tenders to determining proposal requirements, scope of supply, and winning equipment configurations Lead the matrix technical team across Application Engineering, EHS, Product Engineering, and the Renewables product line Analyze technical specifications and documentation to develop optimum protection and control system solutions, ensuring all technical submissions are complete, compliant, and delivered on time Manage pre- and post-bid clarifications proactively, ensuring questions are raised early and all responses are tracked and addressed before submission deadlines Ensure subcontract inquiry packages are complete and subcontract offers are secured well ahead of bid submission Prepare and present detailed cost estimates to the Proposals Manager, incorporating a thorough risk and opportunity (R&O) assessment, mitigation strategies, and appropriate contingency allowances Bring strong commercial awareness and cross-functional knowledge to influence sales strategy across your territory, assess information critically, and recommend solutions that go beyond Stay informed of industry trends and apply that knowledge to improve proposals, processes, and outcomes Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years experience with Protection and Control philosophies, schemes, and standards Exposure to one or more of the following: local area networks, communication schemes, platforms, and protocols used to provide local and remote interrogation with substation relays, meters, fault recorders, and other intelligent electronic devices (IEDs), with a minimum of 5 years of related experience Minimum of 3 years’ experience with substation network communication protocols and configuration (DNP3 and IEC61850) Benefits:
