Mechanical Design Engineer | MAC Products | Kearny, NJ MAC Products is a family-owned manufacturer with a long track record of delivering specialized solutions to the electric utility, electrified transit, construction, and OEM industries. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a self-driven Mechanical Design Engineer who takes ownership of their work and brings precision and creativity to every project. What You'll Do Evaluate contract specifications and develop custom products to meet requirements Perform engineering calculations, component selections, and economic analyses Prepare BOMs, 2D/3D machining drawings, and assembly drawings Support manufacturing and quality control processes; design shop equipment and tooling Manage projects from initiation to completion Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and vendors across disciplines Prepare O&M manuals and other technical documentation What We're Looking For BS in Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree preferred) 3+ years of hands-on post-graduate engineering experience Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor 3D, FEA software, and Microsoft Office Hands-on experience with sheet metal, copper, steel, aluminum, plastic, and/or fiberglass Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills A self-starter who works effectively with minimal supervision Why MAC Products?
