About
Analyze complex business challenges and translate into effective Maximo-based solutions. Design, develop, and support applications on the IBM Maximo platform. Participate in every phase of the software development lifecycle—from requirements gathering to deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business needs into technical requirements. Build and support integrations with enterprise systems using Web Services, REST/SOAP, and Maximo Integration Framework. Enhance Maximo through configurations, workflows, automation scripts, MBO customizations, and BIRT reports. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across applications, integrations, workflows, and reporting. Create validation documents, test plans, and execute test cases to ensure quality. Maintain system documentation, including design specs and user guides. Mentor teammates and contribute to a culture of continuous learning. Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders. Occasionally support integrations with data platforms (e.g., BigQuery) and reporting tools like Tableau. Assist with AVEVA PI content creation and troubleshooting when needed. Requirements:
Extensive experience working with IBM Maximo, including implementation, configuration, and customization. Strong understanding of Maximo architecture, including Application Designer, workflows, schemas, and integration frameworks. Proficient in Python, Jython, JavaScript, SQL, and XML for automation and integrations. Experience building complex BIRT reports and implementing workflow processes. Comfortable working with REST/JSON integrations across enterprise systems. Solid understanding of database systems (especially DB2) and HTML. Organized, detail-oriented, and effective communicator who works well within a team. Bonus if you have experience with Maximo Scheduler, Work Centers, or MAS 9+. Bonus if you’re familiar with GxP regulations and validation requirements (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11). Bonus if you understand OpenShift, DevOps practices, or cloud-native technologies. Bonus if you’re familiar with SSO, SAML, OAuth, and Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies.
