Own City Cast's audience and revenue data end-to-end Define and steward relevant metrics with leadership Collaborate with various teams to build a robust data ecosystem Maintain and wrangle analytics dashboards from multiple data sources Design tailored dashboards for different audiences Forecast audience growth and support finance and sales forecasts Develop first-party data strategy Deliver clear insights to staff through reports and presentations Use AI tools to enhance data work Support investigations and decisions with analysis Requirements:
4+ years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or audience analytics role, ideally in news, podcasting, or media Experience in a media environment with understanding of audience growth and revenue dynamics Fluency in SQL and comfort with BI or visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) Experience with Python or R for analysis is a plus Fluency with AI tools Experience building usable dashboards Strong communication skills for presenting findings Self-directed and comfortable as the first in the seat Passion for local journalism and community engagement Benefits:
