About

A residential developer is seeking a Setting Out Engineer to support the delivery of an apartment project in Cork City Centre. This is a site-based role offering strong exposure to large-scale urban residential developments, working closely with site and engineering teams to ensure accurate setting out and smooth project delivery. Responsibilities Carry out all setting out duties on residential apartment projects Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications accurately on site Ensure all works are set out in accordance with design and quality standards Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and consultants Maintain accurate site records and as-built documentation Support QA checks and ensure compliance with project requirements Requirements Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline 13+ years experience in a setting out / site engineering role Experience on residential or building projects preferred Competent with total station and surveying equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on site Salary & Benefits €45,000 €55,000 DOE Fuel allowance Pension scheme If interested, contact Eve on or email your CV to Skills: Setting Out Engineer Engineering
