*Overview Description:*
We are looking for a flexible, creative, and people-oriented Project Manager with experience managing the implementation of HR systems to oversee business-side projects with a mid-sized Seattle-area employer.
This is a full time hybrid role with some on-site work required in Renton.
The ideal candidate will be flexible in terms of process, and able to move projects forward within the guidelines of the business. This role requires HR experience as a PM (bonus points if you come from an HR background), exceptional communication skills, thorough documentation skills, proven expertise in managing full project lifecycles, and the ability to collaborate across both the business and technology sides of the organization.
This is a 7-month contract role.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Manage an ongoing HCM implementation project
* Work closely with executive and HR leadership.
* Lead cross-functional meetings, manage expectations, and ensure transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
* Document project requirements, changes, risks, and outcomes.
* Monitor progress, adjust timelines as needed, and provide regular status updates.

*Requirements:*
* 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager on technology-related projects.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
* Flexible, able to work in a wide range of process frameworks and build consensus with non-technical teams to get projects pushed through and technology implemented successfully.
* Proven success managing both business- and tech-facing project components.
* Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, etc.).
*Nice-to-haves:*
* Background in HR.
* Experience supporting and configuring UKG
