About
As an Account Executive, you'll build and nurture client relationships to drive revenue growth through sales of HVAC, plumbing, and controls services for commercial facilities. Identify opportunities, present tailored solutions, and close deals on service contracts, retrofits, and new installationsworking with decision-makers to deliver sustainable, efficient building performance. Duties and Responsibilities- Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in commercial mechanical services.
- Manage full sales cycle: needs assessment, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Maintain and expand existing accounts through upselling, renewals, and relationship management.
- Collaborate with operations, preconstruction, and service teams to ensure solution delivery meets client expectations.
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and reports to highlight value and ROI.
- Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Stay current on industry trends, energy efficiency, and sustainability solutions.
- Experience: 5+ years in sales/business development for HVAC, plumbing, mechanical services, or related B2B field; proven track record of quota attainment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Physical Demands: Office-based with client travel; standard mobility for meetings and presentations.
- Work Environment/Safety: Professional office/field mix; adhere to safety protocols during site visits.
- Sales techniques, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), proposal writing.
- Client relationship management, negotiation, product knowledge (HVAC/controls).
- Presentation skills, pipeline management, market analysis.
