Overview
We are seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our Validation Authority engineering team, with a primary focus on automation testing and CI/CD pipelines . In this role, you will work closely with software engineers and QA professionals to design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks using TestNG / ATS , and to integrate tests into modern CI/CD workflows. This internship provides hands-on experience with real-world systems, tools, and best practices in software quality and DevOps.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using TestNG / ATS
Execute and analyze automated test suites for functional, regression, and integration testing
Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and identify test scenarios
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Monitor pipeline execution results and help troubleshoot test failures
Contribute to improving test coverage, reliability, and execution time
Maintain test documentation and report defects with clear reproduction steps
Learn and apply best practices in software testing, automation, and DevOps
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Basic programming experience in Java (or a similar language)
Familiarity with automation testing concepts and frameworks (TestNG preferred)
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
Basic knowledge of Git or other version control systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
Basic understanding of REST APIs and API testing
