Boeing Commercial Airplanes Emergent Operation is defining the future of emergent commercial aviation Manufacturing and is seeking a Numerical Control Programmer to join our growing Emergent Operation Quality team in Puyallup, WA. This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of CMM programming and part inspection in an industry leading aviation manufacturing facility. You'll be a part of the team that insures Emergent Operations is delivering a conforming product that establishes the foundation of a quality aircraft. You'll work to insure quality across diverse cross-functional teams and directly support company initiatives around quality. In this role, you'll be programming and operating a Hexagon CMM operating in PC-DMIS. Primary Responsibilities: Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience. Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work. Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment. Works under general direction. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): 3+ years of experience in programming in PC-DMIS. 3+ years of experience in ENOVIA/ CATIA. 3+ years of knowledge of reading/ interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Must be willing to work 3rd shift. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Knowledge in interpreting engineering GD&T tolerances. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range for Mid-Level (level 3): $107,100 - $144,900 Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
