About

We are currently recruiting Staff Grade and Senior Occupational Therapists to join Adult and Paediatric Primary Care Teams across Louth and Meath. These are fantastic opportunities to work within supportive multidisciplinary teams delivering high-quality occupational therapy services within community and primary care settings. Opportunities are available across both adult and paediatric services depending on the successful candidates experience and preferences. Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapists: Provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention within adult or paediatric primary care services Manage a varied caseload including physical disability, developmental delay, neurological conditions, sensory needs, rehabilitation, and functional independence Develop and implement individualised treatment and intervention plans Work collaboratively with families, carers, schools, GPs, and multidisciplinary team members Provide recommendations regarding equipment, environmental adaptations, and functional support strategies Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and service development initiatives Senior Grade Responsibilities (in addition to above) Manage complex clinical caseloads Provide clinical support and supervision to junior staff and students Participate in service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives Support leadership within the occupational therapy service Requirements for the Occupational Therapists: Degree in Occupational Therapy CORU registration For Staff Grade: relevant clinical or placement experience For Senior Grade: minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience Strong communication, organisational, and clinical reasoning skills Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams Desirable Experience in adult primary care, paediatrics, disability, rehabilitation, or community services Experience with equipment provision, seating, sensory integration, or neurological rehabilitation Access to own transport and full drivers licence Whats on Offer Competitive HSE-aligned salary Flexible opportunities across adult and paediatric services Supportive multidisciplinary team environments Ongoing professional development and clinical supervision Valuable community and primary care experience Contact Us: If you or someone you know is interested in this position, please send a copy of your CV to If you refer a candidate to us who is successfully hired, we can offer you a €150 thank you bonus!
