B.A. / B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline strongly preferred. Experience
15+ years’ experience developing web and Windows desktop applications. Effectively leading teams and mentoring junior software engineers. Technical Skills
Domain Driven Design and application via modern microservice-based architecture; SQL and/or NoSQL data stores; code review and acceptance processes to improve code quality; Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques; TFS, AzureDevOps, Visual Studio 2017 or 2019, and Git repository; Containerization technology (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration); and, Cloud architectures and services (AWS, Google, Azure). Solid understanding of security issues and defensive programming techniques. Demonstrated ability to translate written requirements into technical design specifications. Certifications: AWS, Google, and/or Azure preferred. Reasoning Ability: Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where some limited standardization exists. Able to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
