A career as an Auditor Financial Integrity within the Internal Audit team at National Bank means supporting our partners in implementing effective controls related to financial integrity risks. Your job

  • Conduct in ‑ depth analyses of processes related to financial integrity, the Bank’s accounting systems, governance, reporting, and industry best practices
  • Assess the effectiveness of the design and operationalization of internal controls and help identify the root causes of gaps as well as innovative, realistic, and sustainable solutions
  • Develop and execute the testing strategy for identified controls, including performing data analyses to understand trends and detect deficiencies
  • Leverage data analytics and artificial intelligence tools made available to you as catalysts to optimize your work at every stage of the certification process, from risk identification to control testing
  • Collaborate closely with auditors from other Internal Audit teams, auditors from your 52 ‑ 109 team, as well as external auditors
  • Support senior and lead auditors in executing their control tests

Your team

Within the Internal Audit sector, you are part of a large team of more than 110 professional colleagues and report to the Senior Director, Internal Audit - Financial Integrity. Our team stands out for its dynamism, innovation, and the opportunities it offers to grow, excel, and build enriching professional relationships with the many partners of Internal Audit. Our offices are located at the head office in downtown Montréal, and we adopt a flexible work model.

Prerequisite

  • Bachelor's degree related to the sector and 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • CPA designation or candidate for the profession
  • Knowledge of data visualization and analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, as well as artificial intelligence technologies (e.g., Co-pilot and ChatGPT)
  • Ability to solve complex problems and demonstrate innovation in finding solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify and synthesize information
  • Ability to use, organize, and analyze data to draw relevant conclusions
  • Ability to work in a team
