About
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Implementation QA Analyst to join our growing fintech team. This is a career-building role designed for someone entering the industry with a passion for quality assurance, financial technology, and client delivery. You will start by supporting software testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for our banking platform and progressively grow into a broader implementation role — coordinating client onboarding projects, managing delivery workstreams, and eventually leading implementation engagements.

*Phase 1 (0–12 Months) -*QA Analyst / Implementation Associate -Execute test cases, document defects, support UAT, assist with onboarding tasks.
*Phase 2 (12–24 Months) -*Implementation Analyst *-*Lead QA workstreams, manage client data validation, assist in project coordination*.*
*Phase 3 (24+ Months) - *Implementation Specialist - Own full implementation lifecycle, manage client relationships, drive project delivery.

*Key Responsibilities*
*Phase 1: QA & Implementation Support (Entry Level)*
* Execute predefined test cases for banking applications — web, mobile, and backend systems.
* Perform functional and regression testing of key features such as account setup and maintenance, deposits, transfers, and posting.
* Identify, document, and track defects clearly using GitHub.
* Validate upload and ensure data accuracy in client test environments.
* Support UAT activities alongside client teams during implementation engagements.
* Assist with test data setup, environment preparation, and post-fix retesting.
* Perform basic API testing
* Support implementation team members with data exchange tasks, configuration validation, and go-live readiness checklists.
* Collaborate with QA team members, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
*Phase 2: Implementation Analyst (Developing)*
* Lead QA workstreams within client implementations, coordinating test cycles and UAT sign-off.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans and status reports.
* Serve as a secondary point of contact for clients on testing and data validation activities.
* Use SQL to update and configure unique client environments.
* Contribute to the development and refinement of implementation playbooks, test templates, and QA documentation.
* Begin facilitating client calls and status meetings with supervision.
*Phase 3: Implementation Specialist (Advanced)*
* Own the full implementation lifecycle — discovery, configuration, integration, testing, training, go-live, and post-launch support — for multiple concurrent client engagements.
* Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, resource schedules, and executive communications.
* Serve as the primary client contact during implementation, set clear expectations, and provide a consultative experience.
* Coordinate across internal teams — product, development, support, and sales — to align on scope, deliverables, and timelines.
* Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks and blockers with urgency; develop contingency plans as needed.
*Qualifications*
*Required (Entry Level)*
* A structured thinker who can validate complex, configuration-driven banking workflows with precision
* Basic understanding of software testing concepts: test cases, defects, QA lifecycle, Software Development Life Cycle.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Good communication and documentation skills, both written and verbal.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office, GitHub, or similar data tools.
* Basic understanding of banking concepts: accounts, transactions, payments, and customer servicing.
* Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility over time.
*Preferred (Any Level)*
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
* Understanding of Agile or Scrum environments.
* Internship, coursework, or project experience related to QA, software testing, or banking systems.
* Working knowledge of banking operational processes and how financial institutions manage day-to-day workflows.
* Familiarity with financial services compliance considerations (e.g., BSA/AML, SOX, FFIEC) as they relate to technology implementations.

*Work Environment & Travel*
This role is remotely based. As you grow into implementation specialist responsibilities, periodic travel to client sites may be required — estimated at up to 25% during active implementation phases. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
