Our HNI Workplace Furnishings team in Muscatine, IA is actively looking for a dedicated and skilled Welder to fill a 2nd shift opportunity.

As part of our team, you’ll dive into a dynamic welding role where you will be operating MIG, TIG, brazing, arc and/or operate robotic welding equipment. Your hard work will be rewarded with competitive compensation, ranging from $18.50 to $24.00 per hour.

As a Welder you will primarily be responsible for welding metal components together to fabricate or repair parts and/or products according to blueprints, company specifications and work schedules.

What your day looks like:    

• MIG, TIG, brazing, arc and/or operate robotic welding equipment.
• Load/unload material from welding tables, jigs and/or fixtures.
• Check inventory (wires, gas cylinder, etc.) as required to perform job and replenish when necessary.
• Follow standard work for Welder classification and adhering to all quality standards and safety rules.
• Maintain a work pace that supports production goals.
• Member will be expected to maintain flexibility and will occasionally perform other roles.
• Perform basic quality checks according to standard work.
• Maintain clean area.

Your qualifications:    

• Prior working knowledge of MIG, TIG, brazing, arc and/or robotic welding and equipment.

Requirements: 

• Pass pre-employment drug testing
• Pass a 7-year criminal background check
• High school diploma or GED is not required
