Head of CloudDevOps (f/m/d)

The Head of CloudDevOps will be responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. This role will involve strategic planning, leadership, and hands-on involvement to ensure our systems are scalable, reliable, and secure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, DevOps methodologies, and experience managing a high-performing team.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage the CloudDevOps team, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment
• Develop and implement cloud strategies together with our Cloud- and Software-Architects aligned with business goals and objectives for our offerings in the Automotive and SaaS/IoT markets
• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable and secure cloud infrastructure
• Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code
• Collaborate with product development, project management, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness. Organize 24/7 OnCall for effective alerting and problem solving
• Manage budget and resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and security policies

What you will need to succeed:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a cloud and DevOps leadership role
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, automation, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and configuration management (Helm, Terraform)
• Proven experience in managing large-scale cloud deployments and ensuring high availability
• Ability to program in one or more languages (Golang, Python, NodeJS)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset
