About

The Opportunity We are retained exclusively by a well-regarded multidisciplinary consultancy operating across Architecture, MEP, and Fire Engineering to appoint a commercially minded design professional into a newly created strategic role. This is a high-visibility position, working directly alongside the CEO and senior leadership team to support growth across a portfolio that spans hyperscale data centres, major remediation and infrastructure projects, public sector frameworks, and international technical delivery. Suited to a qualified architect, design professional or technically literate consultant with 5-10 years' experience who is ready to move beyond pure delivery and into the commercial, strategic, and client-facing side of the business, this role carries genuine long term progression toward commercial leadership. What You'll Do - Lead and support strategic project pursuits across Architecture, MEP and Fire Engineering divisions. - Prepare compelling client submissions, presentations and capability documentation to a high standard. - Partner with senior leadership on commercial positioning and pursuit strategy. - Develop visually strong graphics, layouts and presentation materials that win work. - Coordinate across technical teams to pull together major pursuit and framework submissions. - Support interview preparation and client-facing pitch presentations. - Maintain quality and consistency across external communications and pursuit collateral. - Work closely with the CEO on strategic commercial initiatives and business development activities. - Identify opportunities to strengthen market positioning and deepen client engagement. What We're Looking For - Qualified Architect, design professional or technically literate consultant. - 5-10 years' experience within architecture, engineering consultancy, design consultancy or a related sector. - Strong graphic and presentation capability, you produce materials that look as good as they read. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to senior stakeholders. - Commercially aware, organised and meticulous about quality and detail. - Ambitious, proactive and genuinely interested in the business development side of professional services. - Motivated to grow toward a commercial leadership role over time. Preferred Experience - Exposure to data centre, infrastructure, commercial or large-scale project environments. - Experience preparing client-facing presentations or strategic bid submissions. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign. - Background in a multidisciplinary consultancy setting. - Strong grasp of design communication and professional presentation standards.
