About
In this role, you will:
Develop, upgrade, test, implement, and document data migration toolkits to meet project requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise including connectivity issues and application issues.
Build and execute unit test cases to ensure data conversion quality and integrity.
Perform data analysis and profiling of legacy and converted data.
Load converted data to Facets via batch processes and/or custom jobs as needed.
Implement defect corrections and new requirements as needed to data migration toolkits.
Work independently and/or within teams throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.
Participate in the creation of the Data Migration Solution Vision Document in prep for Client Review/Approval.
Provide insight /support to the DM Technical Design Specification.
Partner with implementation teams (TZG, Client, Third Party) in designing a comprehensive end‑to‑end solution for Data Migration.
Develop legacy extract layouts that will support the Data Migration translations for each data type and legacy system.
Implement a secure method of transferring PHI data between systems.
Determine security requirements for Development and BA staff (both Client Facing and DM Center) to support legacy data extraction (if needed), Facets Batch execution, and front‑end and back‑end access for testing purposes.
Ensure seamless deployments to SIT, UAT, Production and other environments as needed. When applicable provide client batch teams with the know‑how for self‑execution of batch data loads.
Support the client‑facing BA during mapping sessions providing the technical oversight needed.
Support the client‑facing BA during testing cycles to ensure clear understanding of defects and new requirements.
Provide solutions for custom data loads outside of the normal Data Migration processes when necessary.
Support the Data Migration Delivery Lead to ensure timelines and milestone dates can be achieved; provide insight of development and unit testing status throughout the life of the project.
Support the Data Migration Delivery Lead for all Change Requests. Ensure there is a clear understanding of the requirements, time needed to complete, and resources required.
Identify Environment Requirements for the Development Center.

What you need to have to be considered
BA/BS in Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
4–6 years of experience with the Facets product, Facets configuration, data model, and batch processing.
4–6 years of Healthcare industry experience as business analyst or developer performing as a key contributor on project teams.
Advanced knowledge of technologies relevant to data migration.
Experience with software tools, platforms, and processes such as SQL, PL/SQL, C#, AWS suite of tools, Python, Informatica, or similar ETL tool.
Experience working with Oracle DB and MS SQL DB. Snowflake experience preferred.
Experience in designing solution architecture, data architecture and data migration process.
Proficiency in analysis, communication skills, data profiling and analysis, and unit testing and data validation.
Solid understanding of data model concepts.

Salary and Other Compensation Applications will be accepted until 4/27/26.
The annual salary for this position is between $89,000 – $155,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
