Overview: PFH Technology is partnering directly with a Dublin based Client who seeks aSenior Network & Cyber Security Engineer / Architect with strong expertise in enterprise networking, cybersecurity, and security-driven infrastructure projects. The role involves leading the design, implementation, and optimisation of secure, resilient, and scalable network architectures while supporting critical 24x7 operations environments. Mandatory Deliverables: Lead delivery ofnetwork and cybersecurity initiatives across enterprise environments. Design and implementsecure, scalable, and resilient network architectures. Providetechnical leadership and architectural guidance throughout project lifecycles. Design and manageenterprise datacentre networks using Cisco ACI technologies. Configure and optimiseCisco NGFW security features (IPS, Security Intelligence, EVE, etc.). Implementnetwork segmentation and Zero Trust security strategies. Design and optimiseapplication delivery and load balancing solutions. Supporthigh availability, failover, and disaster recovery strategies. Delivernetwork monitoring, performance optimisation, and SLA compliance. Develop and maintaintechnical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures. Providethird-level technical support and mentoring to engineering teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment withsecurity, operational, and business requirements. Mandatory Qualifications: CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) Essential CISSP certification Advantageous Key Skills & Experience: Strong expertise inenterprise networking (LAN/WAN/VPN/TCP-IP). Hands-on experience withCisco ACI and Cisco Firewalls (NGFW). Experience implementingZero Trust and network segmentation strategies. Strong knowledge ofIdentity & Access Management (IAM) and cybersecurity principles. Experience withload balancing, WAF, and traffic management solutions. Proficiency withautomation tools (Python, Ansible, REST APIs). Experience withnetwork monitoring and administration tools. Knowledge ofthreat management and vulnerability assessment. Familiarity withITIL change and service improvement practices. Excellentcommunication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
